Cyber Awareness Requirement:
U.S. Army Inspector General School's (TIGS's) students are issued laptop computers and given network access during the course. In accordance with AR 25-2, paragraph 4-3a (8) (a and b), users must complete Cyber-Awareness Challenge training before TIGS can issue credentials for network access. To faciliate this process, all prospective students must submit proof of their annual Cyber-Awareness Challenge Exam certificate to TIGS's Registrar prior to arriving at TIGS.
For U.S. Army officers, non-commisioned officers (NCOs), and Civilians, proof of the completed training will consist of you submitting your Cyber-Awareness Challenge Exam certificate. If you have already taken the training, email a copy of the certificate to TIGS's Registrar. The training certificate must be dated within the last 12 months. If you need to take the training, please do so using the following link: Cyber-Awareness Challenge Training. Follow the instructions on the Web site.
Officers, NCOs, and Civilians from other services and DoD Civilians must also show proof of annual Cyber-Awareness Challenge training. If you have not completed the training within the last 12 months, you may click on this link: Cyber Awareness Challenge and take the training.
If you do not present proof of your Cyber-Awareness Challenge training prior to the start of class, you will have to remain after class on Day One to complete the training. Any student who fails to complete the training will not gain access to the U.S. Army Inspector General Network (IGNET) and will not be able to proceed with the instruction.
